If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MergeWell is a GitHub App that uses AI to automatically review pull requests and post inline comments. The Service is provided "as-is" and review comments are informational — they are not a substitute for human code review or professional engineering judgement.
3. Eligibility

4. Accounts & Access
- +You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account.
- +You must not share your account or allow unauthorised access.
- +We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abuse or a violation of these Terms.
- +You may uninstall the GitHub App at any time to revoke our access to your repositories.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- −Use the Service to review code that infringes third-party intellectual property
- −Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract review outputs at scale
- −Circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
- −Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
6. Plans & Billing
Paid plans are billed through Paddle, the merchant of record. Prices are listed on the pricing page and exclude applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; see our Refund Policy for entitlement after cancellation.
7. Intellectual Property
MergeWell and its underlying models, UI, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. Review comments generated by the Service are provided to you for use in your development workflow. We do not claim ownership of your code or your pull requests.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REVIEW COMMENTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FREE OF ERRORS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MergeWell and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with 14 days notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8–10 survive termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
